The better your result, the faster you get the offer laa and for those government sponsors, never fully rely on academic result and ALAM to find vessel for shipboard training. They just know talking talking talking and doing nothing ! They claim to our sponsor they'll find ship.
So we suggest, during your 2nd semester. Straight away search any shipping co. Singapore co may be a better choice. But it’s up to you.
In finding ship, one tips okay. Mostly, people will go directly to the company's official website and click on the 'contact us'. Then we anxiously hoping that our cv will be accepted, but as time passed by still there is no news. Tears coming~ Haha,at that time we all lost hope. Haha i do, i really do. Then we all started searching jobs outside our profession. Example: retail store, McDonald, school canteen, Starbucks. Worst case scenario, some of us change their mind to apply other courses in other universities Applying again in the UPU portal. A waste of time again.
So the right way to do so is :

1) Don’t go through company official website to find ship, straight away go to the manning department.
2) Try to find through shipping agent.
These shipping agent do not own any ships, but they have link and supply crews and officers for many shipping companies.
